Lauren, I love the one with the grey. More interesting and complex. My questions is: How will this be better as a painting? I think you could use the practice--but right now this looks great as flat colors and digital. What do you think?Fantastic, otherwise.
Also, looking at it closer, I don't know if you need those shadows that are underneath the eyes/birds. Is that what they are supposed to coming from? They are high enough that I don't think their shadows would be hitting the ground. All the other shadows look good.
