Good Morning Yon Kyung,
I like the idea #2 and #3, with a few changes. I hope you don't mind, I worked on them a bit in photoshop to help show you what could be done. I like both ideas...but it seems like #2 might be a little easier to do.
If you do #2, I think you need to work on Guy's expression. I think he should look a little more surprised, or worried. Also, I don't think he should be grabbing for the gun. I think his hand should just be hanging down in a relaxed pose--and Bruno's trying to shove the gun in his hand. Finally, does Guy smoke in the movie? Because it might be cool to have him smoking and the smoke from that mixing with the smoke from the train. I put the train in as a layer--thinking that it made things a little more interesting. Could you paint it like that--transparant, on top of the two figures? It makes it a little more conceptual making the viewer think things like: do they ride a train? or, is the train symbolic for the mood of the movie? does the train represent the force of the movie? and the smoke is symbolic to the mystery and confusion of the relationship? etc...If you do #3 idea, it's less expression and people--but I like your "concept". Much more fun that some of your original ideas. I think it will just be hard to make it seem realistic. It might be hard for the viewer to make the connection that the shadow belongs to the hands in the foreground. Also, I like your idea of the glasses, but they need to be more of a 2nd (or 3rd) read, hence the reason I made them smaller. I don't know if you need the reflection in the glasses...
Hope to see a final sketch today!
